Hij maakte &#8216;Gazan Tales&#8217;, een film die het pad volgt van vier mannen, elk op zoek naar een eigen definitie voor hun bestaan, dat onlosmakelijk verbonden is met de complexiteit van het leven op zich, het overleven en de liefde. &#8216;Kill Zone: Inside Gaza&#8217; is een ooggetuigenverslag van twaalf Palestijnse journalisten, gemaakt tussen het puin. Deze film bevat schokkende beelden, niet in het minst omwille van de ervaringen van kinderen in dit oorlogsgebied. Zoals Humo schreef: &#8220;We willen &#8216;Kill Zone&#8217; nooit meer zien, maar deze docu zou elke dag uitgezonden moeten worden.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this double bill we show two different perspectives on life in Gaza. Mahmoud Nabil Ahmed, a Palestinian filmmaker who is currently living and working in Ghent, will be present during this screening. He made &#8216;Gazan Tales&#8217;, where four men navigate through divergent paths in pursuit of their definitions of existence, intertwining their fates amidst the complexities of life, love, and survival. &#8216;Kill Zone: Inside Gaza&#8217; is made by 12 Palestinian filmmakers who risked their lives to depict the ongoing assault, and confronts us with the loss and suffering. The film contains shocking images. Even more saddening are the experiences of Palestinian children.
