The work appro\u00ada\u00adches map\u00adping not as a\u00a0fixed repre\u00adsen\u00adta\u00adti\u00adon, but as a\u00a0living and inter\u00adac\u00adti\u00adve pro\u00adcess sha\u00adped by memo\u00adry, par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adti\u00adon, and displacement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rather than pre\u00adsen\u00adting a&nbsp;sta\u00adble geo\u00adgrap\u00adhy, the map ope\u00adra\u00adtes as an open struc\u00adtu\u00adre that reflects a&nbsp;lands\u00adca\u00adpe that has been radi\u00adcally trans\u00adfor\u00admed. In this sen\u00adse, it func\u00adti\u00adons as an archi\u00adve that no lon\u00adger ful\u00adly cor\u00adres\u00adponds to mate\u00adri\u00adal rea\u00adli\u00adty, but con\u00adti\u00adnues to exist through memory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throug\u00adhout the exhi\u00adbi\u00adti\u00adon, the map remains acces\u00adsi\u00adble for inter\u00adac\u00adti\u00adon. Visi\u00adtors\u2009\u2014\u2009par\u00adti\u00adcu\u00adlar\u00adly from the Pales\u00adti\u00adni\u00adan dias\u00adpo\u00adra\u2009\u2014\u2009are invi\u00adted to con\u00adtri\u00adbu\u00adte by adding notes, pla\u00adce names, memo\u00adries, and spa\u00adti\u00adal refe\u00adren\u00adces direct\u00adly onto the map.
