In Gaza was het zijn droom om met kunst een boodschap over te brengen en een beroemde zanger te worden, maar dit werd bemoeilijkt door de restricties voor Palestijnen om te reizen in eigen land. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Yalla Dabke <\/strong>is een collectief van jonge Palestijnen in Belgi\u00eb dat Dabke danst, een traditionele Levantijnse volksdans die uitgroeide tot een symbool van identiteit, veerkracht en verzet. Vanuit hun tweede thuis in Gent delen de dansers hun cultureel erfgoed met mensen van overal, verbinden ze verschillende generaties Palestijnen en geven ze uitdrukking aan gevoelens van heimwee, hoop en onrecht. Tegelijk wil Yalla Dabke via dans bruggen slaan tussen mensen met diverse achtergronden en zo gemeenschappen dichter bij elkaar brengen, daarom nodigen ze het publiek na afloop uit om zelf mee te dansen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Yalla Soundsystem<\/strong> is een collectief van dj&#8217;s en producers Bader, Acid Ponch en hun vrienden en brengt een eclectische mix van allerlei ritmische genres zoals bass, jungle, dubstep, grime, footwork en acid in combo met Shaabi, Ra\u00ef, Gnawa en Mahraganat.
