In een parallelle wereld leven mensen onder zware en complexe omstandigheden, waarbij ze al hun fundamentele rechten hebben verloren. Vele oorlogen hebben de wreedheid van menselijke daden blootgelegd, waarbij de sterke de zwakken verslinden, hun land, rijkdom, leven en alles wat ze bezitten afnemen. Ik had altijd gedacht dat de toekomst helder en welvarend zou zijn, met technologische vooruitgangen die ons zouden helpen op weg naar vrijheid en veiligheid. Maar wat er in Gaza is gebeurd, heeft het tegenovergestelde bewezen. Nu vrezen we de toekomst en de vooruitgang die alles vernietigt zonder de onderdrukkers ter verantwoording te roepen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De bezetting van Palestina is, zoals elke bezetting, een tragedie, maar wat hier anders is, is dat deze bezetting de meest wrede onderdrukking en controle heeft getoond die de mensheid ooit heeft gekend. Zelfs toegang tot voedsel en water werd als wapen gebruikt tegen onschuldige burgers: kinderen, vrouwen en ouderen. De mensen van Gaza lijden onder voedseltekorten, leven onder dezelfde dreiging als dieren. Mensen werden gedwongen dierenvoer te eten en dit zelfs te delen met de dieren, soms zelfs uit dezelfde waterbeker te drinken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wanneer er voedsel beschikbaar is voor mensen, maar niet voor dieren, eten de dieren van het schaarse voedsel van de mensen. Toch stopten de mensen niet met het voeden van hun honden, katten en andere dieren, zoals ezels, leeuwen en apen. Hoe kan een leeuw brood en ingeblikte pasta eten? De honger ontnam hen niet hun mededogen en menselijkheid, noch maakte het hen ego\u00efstisch door al het voedsel voor zichzelf te houden. Zo werd de ezel zelfs als vervangende ambulance gebruikt door de brandstoftekorten, terwijl de bezettingssnipers deze dieren bleven beschieten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Er zijn talloze voorbeelden van de compassie tussen mensen en dieren, en andersom, die de diepe band laten zien die door deze wrede oorlog is gesmeed. Beide worden het doelwit, zelfs tijdens de ontheemding, wanneer mensen meer dan 30 kilometer van noord naar zuid lopen, onder oorlogsvliegtuigen en drones, zonder vervoer, maar hun honden en katten blijven met hen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In deze tentoonstelling wil de artiest de bijzondere relatie tussen mensen en dieren laten zien, een band die nergens anders in de wereld zo sterk is. De artiest schildert sc\u00e8nes van ontheemding samen met hun dieren, maar ook fantasierijke beelden die tonen hoe zij elke dag gevaar en dreigingen trotseren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De tentoonstelling bestaat uit acht acrylschilderijen op canvas, die zijn emoties van verdriet en de verhalen die hij wil vertellen, uitdrukken. Het is zijn persoonlijke visie op de oorlog, een manier om het publiek aan te spreken, hun harten te raken en hen uit te nodigen om dieper na te denken over een toekomst die hopelijk de echte rechten van zowel mensen als dieren beter zal beschermen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>De openingsnacht is op 18 december om 19:00 uur, en daarna is het elke dag te beleven in caf\u00e9 Trefpunt, vanaf 17:00 uur gedurende de rest van de maand.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Het evenement is gratis, dus loop gerust binnen!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The world has not yet awakened. In a parallel world, humans live under harsh and complex conditions, having lost all their basic fundamental rights. Many wars have passed, revealing the ugliness of human actions towards one another, where the strong devour the weak, stealing their land, wealth, lives, and everything they possess. I always envisioned the future to be bright and prosperous, filled with technological advancements that would help us move toward freedom and safety. However, what happened in Gaza has shown the opposite. We now fear the future and the human progress that destroys everything without holding the oppressor accountable or punishing them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The occupation of Palestine is like any other occupation of land and people, but what is different here is that this occupation has shown us the harshest oppression and control humanity has ever witnessed. It even used access to food and water as a new weapon against civilians\u2014children, women, and the elderly. The people of Gaza suffer from food shortages, living under the same threat as animals. People were forced to eat animal food and share it with the animals, even drinking from the same water cup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When there is food available for people but none for animals, the animals eat from the people&#8217;s very limited food supply. Despite this, people did not stop feeding their dogs, cats, and other animals like donkeys, lions, and monkeys. How can a lion eat bread and canned pasta? Hunger did not strip them of their mercy and humanity, nor did it make them selfish in keeping all the food for themselves. For example, the donkey was used as a replacement for an ambulance due to the complete fuel shortage, yet the occupation snipers would still target and shoot these animals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are many examples that illustrate the compassion between people and animals, and vice versa, which highlights the deep bond forged by this cruel war that does not differentiate between them, as both are targeted. Even during the painful journey of displacement, walking more than 30 kilometers from the north to the south, under warplanes and drones, with no cars or carts to transport them, people still took their dogs and cats with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this exhibition, the artist aim to showcase the deep relationship between humans and animals, which differs from any other relationship in the world. The artist will paint scenes of displacement alongside their animals, as well as imaginative scenes that depict how they constantly resist danger and threats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The exhibition will consist of eight acrylic and canvas paintings, expressing the artist mixed emotions of sadness and the lines that narrate different stories and tales. The exhibition serves as a screen where he presents a personal vision of the war, addressing the audience&#8217;s minds, touching their hearts, and giving them a new space to think more deeply about a future we hope will better safeguard the true rights of both humans and animals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The opening night will be on December 18th at 7 PM, and after that,
